Easy Onion Bake

Oklahoma City - NWC alum Malcolm Haney is married to alum and old friend Martha Burton who has sent me a recipe for a baked onion dish he says “This is great as a side dish or as an appetizer. Great on smoked salmon, baked potatoes, on crackers. Frank’s hot sauce is terrific on it. Also great on scrambled eggs. Can be served hot or cold and reheats nicely. Great party dish.”


In a large flat dish cut up any type of Onion in a layer that is about 2 inches deep.


Mix in a liberal amount of real Mayonnaise with the onions.


Cover the entire mixture with a good grated Fresh Parmesan or Romano.


Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the cheese has formed a light brown crust.
